Established in the Lompoc Valley of Central California in 1977, our non-profit organization offers membership

to all plant enthusiasts.

Purposes

Learn about plants native to the California Central Coast
Increase public interest in our local Burton Mesa Chaparral Garden
Stimulate interest in gardening with locally propagated plants
Sponsor displays of living plants in public places
Co-sponsor projects with other organizations

LVBHS is a non-profit 501(c)(5), listed in the California Registry of Charitable Trusts, and a member of California Garden Clubs, Inc., the largest non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer gardening organization in the State.
